Before activating Windows 10 0r 11, you need to find out your edition of Windows.
Naviate to Start > Settings > System > About.
Or it Windows + Pause/Break key at the same time to find your edition of Windows at the About section.
How To Permanently Activate Windows 10 or 11 (It's Free)
Now we know why it's important to activate Windows, and also find our edition of Windows, let's activate it with CMD (Command Prompt).
- Type cmd in the search bar (don't press enter) then right-click on the results and select Run as administrator.
- Type in the following command line and hit enter key to run it, then you can see such a prompt as shown below.
slmgr.vbs /upk - Execute (enter) the command line below to install a product key.
slmgr /ipk NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K-XXXXX - Input this command to set the machine name.
slmgr /skms zh.us.to - Type "slmgr /ato" to activate Windows 10 or 11 for free.
Case 2: Activate Windows 10 Professional without product key
- Run Command Prompt as administrator.
- Execute these commands and press Enter at the end of each line.
slmgr /ipk VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-XXXXX
slmgr /skms kms.xspace.in
slmgr /ato
Step 3. Press Windows key + R key to invoke run dialogue box and type;
" slmgr.vbs -xpr " to confirm whether your Windows 10 or 11 is activated or not.
